Stainless Steel Cable

We source two types of stainless steel cable for industrial use: Type 304 and Type 316. Type 304 stainless steel cable is the standard alloy used in the production of wire rope and cables. It has a similar strength to galvanized ropes and cables but is more resistant to corrosion. Type 304 stainless steel cable is appropriate for use in most industrial environments.

For highly corrosive environments and applications, Type 316 stainless steel is required. Resistant to many chemicals in the pulp, paper, photography, food processing and textile industries, Type 316 stainless steel has the best pitting resistance in marine and salt water and can be used in temperatures up to 900 degrees Fahrenheit.
